today marks the last day of autumn, and 1st June is the 1st day of winter. today's morning temp was like 10 degrees, and I freeze everytime i get out to run. I just wish for hot weather so badly...I don't care about the humidity or the sweating...I just want heat. It's so bad, I eat food just to keep me warm. and my skin drys up so badly...hae to use moisturiser. today's min is 5 degrees.
this week is the last week of school b4 exams. next week is study break, and after that exams...only 4 papers...so much better than JC....and it's 2 per week...so got more time to study for the last 2 papers. last week, my cross country relay girl's team won 1st in the 3 x 5km relays. we were so happy that we beat the defending champions for the past 3 years.... and what is xia ri mo mo cha? sorry...my chinses is very bad(as u all know). My China friend said to me, "out of all the singaporeans I've met, Your chinese is the worst." She said it bluntly cause i think she knew i would not be too offended...but i was. and then I started to talk more complete sentences to her, and a week later she said," I take back what I said about your Chinese, it's not as bad as I thought." but deep down inside, I know my Chinese is hopeless. I even try to tell others about Chinese heritage...and all I know is Chinese New Year...I've realised how little I know about my own culture....funny how you will never tell the story of CNY to anyone in Singapore, and take it for granted that u are a Chinses. but over here, they are interested in Chinses...and i try to explain my roots...but with extreme difficulty. |

whoa. class outing got cancelled. AGAIN. haha. but i heard the guys met up tho. i met waikit by chance at dhoby gaut mrt ;) only 2 days from being unemployed and i feel bored to the max!!! damn sucky leh. good to hear that we are finally planning a trip!!! sea sun tan. as if i'm not burnt enough. i have three skin tone at my ankles. normal sock line, ankle sock line and fair feet haha. getting damn bo liao. anyhow dont think i can join u for trip. mi going perth at end of june!! ;) hopefully ;p |

last week for the tekong recruits! maybe i'll see some of them in ocs too ya...hee..dun sway sway go sispec k..haha. ok now not so fun liao la..haiz...gotta rush project..sian..haha stil gettin alot of welfare, but now got qte some work to do..haha cuz our group slacked too much..but still, every week we gettin nights off leh..lik on wednesdays.haha so maybe wednesday nights if ya all nth to do can go jurong pt! maybe can spot me walking around.haha IPPT on friday...i missed Gold by 6 seconds la...pui...if i get gold got another 4 hours of OFF leh..sianz..haha but ok la at least i improved alot for the running..haha but i foresee that now ippt over..life will be even more slack with no pt! bish..time to grow sideways man...with Pringles and oreos and butter cookies stocking up in the bunk..haha okie, hope to see the class again soon! maybe next weeek after they pass out, got block leave..can try to meet up ya! |

i am interested in the trip & i am really serious about going somewhere for a holiday. ^.^ afterall, we dun have many chances of having such long holidays without having to even worry about homework or studies. anyway, i have a lobang. my friend is going with her class to the xia ri mo mo cha's beach in early july. heard its about 200 to 300 plus dollars for 4 nights & 3 days with 2 free snokelling (issit spell like that?) trips & some other things she dun remember. if u all are interested, i can get the details from her & we can arrange one on our own. ^.^ think of the beach, the clear blue water, the sun & the soft sand... Oh my god!!...i am so excited!!!~ so excited! so excited! haha...;P so anyone in? |

stupid i din see the icons properly and my post got erased b4 i published it... so now i have to repeat everything...urgh!!! firstly, congrats cp!! finally decided wat to study and u got a scholarship too...wow, lots of money man...nus one still have to wait...fangxi, we dun even need to apply...have to wait for their letter...will i even get the letter? i wonder... yeah, thanks julia!!! took the initiative to organise class gathering...though i tink the nil response appreciated is supposed to be a reverse psychology thing, am i rite? buden apparently a lot of pple din reply to u...including me...so maybe shudn't write dat next time... arh...fangxi...i wanted to ask u bout working at venezia...coz i quitting my job and tot maybe can go work with u...buden lydat den maybe not...haha... anyway, my bro found a trip to tioman...3 days 2 nites for S$168... dat is inclusive of transport, accomodation and breakfast...of course, breakfast is complimentary with the stay lah...my bro gg on 9 june with his friens...i tot this trip is pretty cheap...so anyone interested?? |

so happy...mummy and daddy are coming in a few days time...just can't wait. So have to jia you now and finish my work. Plus on sat have cross-country relay competition...really want to get another medal...but there is another good team we have to battle it out with. can't believe exams are coming...keep scarring myself by thinking what ifs....what if I screwed up and lost a lot more marks than I should? what if I misinterpreted the question? so worrying...I hate the sun setting at 5pm...makes the day so short. and 1st june marks the start of winter...my first winter!

but cheng ping if you want the job can try calling again. they are really short of people. the poor daughters of the boss have to work 12 hours straight sometimes. think that man didn't see the message left. and DON'T say that you know me... he thinks i'm a stupid girl who only knows how to study. i agree with that, but to get scolded like that just because i used up his $5 notes is too much. |

Hmmm... wah.. how come everyone kena smu or wad smu scholarship.. darn.. i shouldn't have forgotten to apply.. oh well.. better luck next year manz... hmmm.. darn field camp and sit test finally over.... lim pei become limbeh soldier liao.. sibei sian... argh... oooh.. vernon seems to be having a good life over at air force, hmmm... on thurs, i juz signed on for the the airforce CCC and ADA thing.. haha.... but always holding my "serve and fuck off" mentality, I already withdrawn my contract this morning.. well... the contract signing was just to skip the darn drills session.... oh no.. monday IPPT, i'm so gonna die... no more SOC for me liaoz... got 8.59... and below 9 is one day off... so lucky me... heh... wtf lor... paul tan from my company clocked 6.28... fangxi and cp working at venezia? wow.... i need some ice cream manz.... i lost 2 kg! so gross... out field sucks lah... den whole day kena kan by sergeants... wallow.... i really wanna get into some slack vocation lor... if not really can go eat shit liaoz..... the only consolation is that pop in 2 weeks time... den i can say bye bye to the cb sergeants that always tekan me... hope i can recover from my ailments by then.... army life is cursed.. into my 8th week and i've been sick for 7 weeks.. wtf... oh well... all the best my 69-ers pals out there... 2 more weeks to POP... say hello to private koh soon..... heh... |

heyhey... fang or xiaoyuan.. wanna teach dance or something? I know there is this new studio at chinatown. Went for a trial lesson of ballet and heard the instructor pick up calls bout inquiries. They have salsa and belly dancing and hip hop already... so... if you are confident of teaching other forms, may wan to call and go for auditions or something.. hahaha....quite a nice place, quite cheap also 12 bucks a lesson... soo... nothing serious or anything.
there is this girl a year older also teaching there... dun look very pro.... ahhaha that's why i dun think i will go for hip hop lesson there.. lalallalal |

it's a bond free scholarship that covers my tuition fees and gimme 5k a year to spend...oh and a 3k laptop grant... heee... so happy... lallalalal |

Fangz! I love the template! really refreshing...I slept at 3am last night writing an essay on globalisation and a global culture. did not know anything about that so had to do research...really don't know what i will do if I had to write that as a GP essay in a classroom without any resources. Watched an hour of Simpsons just now, and trying to do maths cause there is a test on Fri. Sick now, with phlegm and running nose...half my class is sick too...and so is half of Australia...the queue at the uni clinic is so long, the earliest u can see the doctor is in 3 days time. I think it is due to the change in the weather, it has been so cold lately, definitely less than 15 degrees. plus my room's heater does not exactly get hot...so i am freezing in my room. My head is spinning now...prob from lack of sleep. want to sleep early tonite, but doubt that I will...cause i want to get some work done. |

Fangz....u say gonna change blog template..but never...must be busy with all the ice-cream u get to see everyday...i think i will just go mad seeing so much ice-cream, and not being able to eat ALL of it. field camp jus ended for me :) had disgusting rations for 7 days which i managed to swallow 1 pack a day, but basically just lived on biscuits and fruit bars amidst swamps of centipedes and spiders and ants and worst of all, frogs! :( and i didn't shit. heh. till the 7th day when i got back to camp, hogged at the toilet bowl for an hour or so.. anyway. i'm as skinny as a bamboooo now, oh well! hafta chiong back to camp soon. take care yeaps! to those who hadn't have their field camp, to officer yeoW at ocs with longer field camps, to the girls who are flying or staying, see ya around soon!!! |

CP: from personal experience, I feel that discrimination is not so problematic, where I am in...possibly cause Newcastle is a smaller city than the others such as Sydney, Melbourne etc. I went to Sydney, and it was shocking when my friend asked me to just take a look at how many Asians you could count walking down the street. Out of 10 people walking towards me, at least 5 were Asians. So I guess where there are more Asians, there would tend to be more social tension experienced be the locals. I asked my friend if he had hadany experiences before, he said our Taiwanese classmate was insulted by Australians. don't know exactly the words but something like this..."You *!@#%^%$, go back to Asia."But Newcastle pple are friendly and warm, perhaps cause we are not in a big, urban city like Sydney.

my father was remarking that pulau redang is too near to southern thailand for comfort. a bit dangerous. will indonesia be safer? presidential elections and blah. everywhere is not safe. so sian. |
